I've managed to leave behind my $1000 tablet twice, 3 mid-high end smartphones, uniform, glasses (how do you walk off without realising that your vision is terrible???) and various other things one really shouldn't be able to forget.

I don't drive, so I don't have that problem, but it sounds like something I'd do. :P I tend to be absent-minded.

What I sometimes do is I'll go and make a pot of coffee...and forget to add the coffee grounds. Oops.

I used to work at Tim Hortons. One day I started a new pot of coffee, only to come back 10 minutes later and realize that not only had I forgotten to put a pot under the maker, but my boss was standing right there watching the whole thing. :roll:

OMG. I have done this with my Keurig. Put coffee in and started it up, walked away, and returned to find coffee on the floor because I never put a mug under it.

Would be infinitely worse to have my boss see me do it at work though!
