I might have detective-esque talents.

Once I figure out where someone lived just by looking at photos of them in their neighborhood. I only needed to ask which neighborhood he lived and some pictures he posted online and I figured out his exact address

Thank you. ^.^... But, I'm sure you have talents, even if it isn't being artistic.

Dogs... I'm really good with dogs. I've always had a special connection to them. Everyone else thinks I'm really weird.

My local humane society used to let the cats roam free in the large front room / office area. I didn't have a cat yet at the time, and when I was there, I was instantly terrified at the sheer number of them. Probably 2 dozen easily. I backed away toward the door I'd come in through, and the cats started closing in on me. The people who worked there started rounding up some of the cats that were closer to me. They explained to me that the cats were so interested in me because I wasn't coming toward them, trying to pet them or pick them up. I was SAFE in the cats' eyes.

And now I have 1 1/2 awesome cats myself. Was never afraid of cats to begin with - just the large number of them coming at me. Ha ha.

Oh and dogs love me too (not the mean ones, but skiddish ones, shy ones) because I do a couple things to ease their anxiety, like I get down as low as I can comfortably and let them come to me. A 6'1" person is scary to something that stands 2 feet off the ground.

That does sound scary. Makes sense, though, that they think you're safe. Must be why animals flock to me as well. I usually don't approach them, either.

Upload it to Photobucket.com and post it (the image's URL) with the Insert Image icon below the subject when you are about to post on Wrong Planet.

I would have to say guitar playing and my fascination of remembering populations of various locations :)

Love the artwork, you are definately talented, hope those that took your work appreciate the talent. Especially love the shuttle but the chick on a cake is cool. My Aspie gift is a genius level IQ, an inability to relate to people in groups and a hyper sensitive sense of smell (hate Bodyshop (uk) gives me a migraine. My obsession with science is my life, not sure about a skill.

Got to say always got on with animals, even wild ones, runs in the family.

Hobbit is a calico with my ex-girlfriend on the east coast right now. When I moved back to WI, I left her with mom and said I'd come back for her. It's been just over a year since I've seen her and I think I can finally afford the plane ticket. I can't do that drive anymore.

And last summer after an argument with my then-girlfriend, I took a walk in town at 10:30pm to clear my head. As I crossed an intersection, this big, grey stray cat crossed the sleepy intersection kitty corner from me (ha,) hustled up to me and rubbed his head up against my legs, purring for attention. I took a long way home and he followed me the whole way. Even went through the front door. His name is Xavier (because he used mind control on me) and he's pictured at left.

I left his info at the humane society in case his previous owners came for him, but they never did. (You could tell he had a family; he was litter trained, friendly, loved toys, recognized the sound of cans opening for him, etc). But now he's home....

I also hate it when people think my playing is theirs. The other day a friend of mine showed me a recording from months ago, where we were jamming out on a new song idea - he thought it was him playing the keys, and refused to believe that it was me. I remembered coming up with the line - I remembered making the original recording - I even had played that thing I made up multiple times since then. Then I just said "you aren't good enough to play that on keys, how could you possibly have done that 6 months ago when you were even worse at them?" He and our drummer looked at each other for a few seconds at that point - not sure why. Then I went up to his keyboard and played the line and invited him to come up and do the same. They dropped the subject.

The thing is I just get -EXTREMELY- defensive about my own work, and I'll get very nasty when people claim my work is theirs, even if they're just not remembering the session and wondering out loud "hm, i think that might be me on keys there" when it was really me.

I think it might be time to find some other people to play with. That is BULL s**t! If someone stole credit on my music, I'd drop them like a baby. What I'm not supposed to say baby? Fine. Bad habit then.

And I think you're being way too forgiving when you say they do this accidentally. How does one accidentally mis-remember that they wrote something they didn't??? When I play something, I know how to play it, or at least an idea of how it felt in my hands. And so he heard it, liked it, and just ASSUMED he played it? That just doesn't happen!
