12/20. Some of them I was stuck between two answers and chose poorly.

Not accurate test IMO, emotions in real life is more subtle and people try to hide them.

13/20

And most of those expressions look like what people look like when they're trying to ACT happy or whatever, not how expressions actually look in real life.

Your Score: 15/20

Not bad. Your score means you're better than the average at reading expressions.

I scored amazing 16/20, beat me.

Scored quite poorly, because they all just looked like models pretending to emote to me. Yes, I'm saying that I would have scored better if they had hired professional method actors who spent months getting into character. Also, can't find my glasses.

Facial expressions are not essential to empathy and compassion, compassion can exist without empathy and visa versa, and feelings are communicated with more than just facial expressions.

Other than that this is good as it teaches exactly what to look for and what went wrong.

I agree that some of them don't look genuine.

Could prosopagnosia affect how you score on this? Cause I have that.

15/20. I guessed at some of them. They did seem overly exaggerated too.

I liked the little explanations that came with each photo and I'm going to go back and re-read/study them some more. Thank you for sharing this! I hadn't seen it before.

I got 17, but I think the problem with this is that they are exaggerated. I don't think most people are that expressive. Also, it was multiple choice, and I'm good at guessing. If I had to do this in real life I'd probably score below average.
