I am from Italy. Here in Italy, at the times I was diagnosed for the first time (about 9 years ago), there wasn't a therapy to do after the diagnosis, because AS was considered a milder disorder. I started having a sort of "therapy" when I was 11, but it wasn't very much. About other disorders, shitzofrenics and bipolars are put into psychiatric hospitals, and people with severe autism like my brother do just a little of therapy when they're still very young and then are usually put into psychiatric hospitals as well, though my brother still lives with me and my parents because our parents decided that it wasn't ok for him going into a psychiatric hospital.
