Unable to respect unresonable rules ?

I don't listen to laws I believe to be unjust such as smoking marijuana, which I do in the privacy of my own home. It's a thin line, but some laws are obviously put there to control people and not protect them. Laws like the drinking age being 21 when it's legal for an 18-year-old to vote, growing hemp for industrial use and gay marriage.
EDIT: On file sharing, people wouldn't pirate if companies were offering better services. For example, there is a new SimCity coming out. It's a one player game. In order to play it you have to have an internet connection, which is crap because many ISP's have a bandwidth cap now and also, there will be a time when they shut down the servers and you will never be able to play that SimCity game again (they shutdown 'The Saboteur' servers after about 3 years). You also have to have Origin, a crappy program ran by EA. EA is kidding themselves if they really think I'm going to fork out $80 (you saw that right) for a game like that.
Not to threadjack but yeah I've read that about the upcoming SimCity too, and it's so weird. Thankfully it won't be a problem for me internetwise, but I agree that the whole thing is wrong and horrible for those it will/would be a problem for.
I would actually pay that price as many games out there are just as expensive (except the awesome indie-games that will hopefully change that), or wait a bit until the price dropped, but I'll probably stay with SimCity 4 deluxe as that is where all the mods are. Also I was so disappointed when I read an interview with the maker basically going "yeah at first we had some really cool, smart ideas but instead we dumbed it down EVEN MORE! yay!"
