Yes I agree meetings and especially meetings that go on and on and on,,,,

Types of smells that bother me the most include plug-in air fresheners and when someone wears too much perfume or cologne. Candles burning that are not too strong smelling can be tolerable, but plug-in air fresheners to me are too strong and almost nauseating. :eew:

My biggest uhh...dislike is mostly just people without common sense (which is honestly the average person in most countries). Or people who just talk about the same subject EVERY time you're with them. At first, I'll just let it slide, but after a while I just get tired of hearing it all the time. Eventually I will tell them I get tired of hearing about it all the time, or I'll just hang out with them less often (usually the latter).

Those are my 2 main biggest pet peeves. I honestly just cannot stand people who have no common sense, and I ignore them completely.

I'm also not really a fan of big parties. I just find them...dull. Boring, mostly. If it's a small party, like 20 people or less, and people I know, then I'm okay with it. If it's just one of those parties with people getting drunk and just dancing to music, then I'm just like "Okay, time to go, bye!"

I don't like fast food places. Most that is. McDonalds, Burger King, etc, I don't really like their food very much (even if it DOES taste good), their food is just processed BS & I only eat it sometimes. Fast food places are all about quantity over quality, and I honestly prefer quality. I'd rather eat healthy food all the time (even though most of my life I haven't). Resturaunts I'm okay with.

Shopping? Ha! Just wanna buy the crap I want & get the hell out. That's all I wanna do.

1 Sticky things, e.g elastoplasts/bandaids, especially if stuck where they shouldn't be.
2 Other people's laundry smells. Why's the smell of detergent so strong? My laundry doesn't smell like that.
3 The feel of canvas, e.g. a bag strap.
4 Sprays of any sort, e.g. deodorant, perfume, cleaner.
5 People who have parties in their gardens. It's winter. Get inside and give us all some peace.

I could go on and on...

1. Being patronised (especially by someone whose personal sense of superiority is reliant upon their inferior intelligence - which seems to be the most common type unfortunately).

2. Social role conventions applied to individuals purely on the basis of their anatomy.

3. Babies & children and all that they entail (crooning as mentioned and also smells, slime, screaming, personal space invasion etc.).

4. Any form of injustice, however minor.

5. People who don't *think* (this is an umbrella peeve covering all manner of sub-peeves including a) people who conform mindlessly e.g. believing the contents of newspaper's like the UK's Daily Mail b) people who stop in the middle of the shop/pavement without checking that they're not getting in the way c) people who blindly inherit a religion, political position etc. without questioning the available options. d) people who complain about the high cost of food irrespective of whether the producer is getting a fair wage, but don't think twice about spending £££'s on unnecessary luxuries like TV's and stereo's. And on and on...)

AMEN. Especially the injustice. I want to throw things through a wall when something CAN be fair but people are too lazy or just, for some maddening reason (if there even IS a reason) that I will never understand, too unconcerned/malicious to MAKE IT RIGHT.

This is an excellent list.

1) Slimey seafood (Mussles, squid, oysers, mackrel etc).
2) Chemicals sprayed into the air - Eg. air fresheners, hairspray etc. If the smallest particle of the stuff gets into my mouth it tastes like I am drinking a cup full.
3) Multitasking - just cannot do it really.
4) Unwanted touching - people knocking or brushing against me - even my wife if I am not expecting it. It drives me crazy.
5) Injustice or unreasonable people. I have gotten into some ridiculously heated arguments over the smallest percieved injustice and I cannot ever seem to just let it go. If I ever do it winds me up for the rest of the day.

5) parties

I already made my list....it's here. I just wanted to say I also HATE shoes and shoe shopping!

1. Too much socializing at work (by this I mean too many celebrations for the holidays or Christmas time of year).
2. Immature people (adults who act like they are in junior high and talk "catty" about people).
3. Frenemies.
4. Eating with people when there is little background noise and I can hear people chew.
5. Being at work and the TV or radio is too loud close to my office.
6. Loud construction noises outside my workplace or my house.
7. Crowds of people at a mall and especially when the crowd is so bad it is difficult to even walk around a group of people and usually I want to get out of a crowded mall as fast as possible.
8. Walking along in a mall or other crowded place and a person or group of people get in front of me and walk extremely slow. Or walking behind someone when I am shopping and the person in front of me decides to stop all of a sudden.
9. Grocery shopping bugs me often times because again it can often be a crowd of people which can get annoying (it depends and somtimes I do not mind grocery shopping).
10. Any loud noise outside my house to include people doing loud yard work, people "revving" their car engine, and loud booming music next door to me or loud music in a car driving by my house. (oops I went past 5 things).

Grocery stores are a nightmare to me

Feel free to have another go I am enjoying the responses very much.

1. The sound or mention of velcro (my head is already starting to hurt just thinking of the word)
2. The sound of forks on ceramic plates.
3. Hugging (but I've been forced to "tolerate" it)
4. Romantic/sexual relationships
5. When people change plans. If I ever have plans with other people and the plans change (even slightly), I get very frustrated, anxious, and irritated, while most people don't see the problem. Or if people are late.

1, Whistling. This is a huge pet peeve of mine and I want to kill anyone I hear doing it.
2. People tapping their fingers, particularly when it's audible, or other types of fidgeting that make noise
3. The sound your fingernails make when they scratch a seatbelt or seatbelt like material, it mades me shudder all over
4. Christmas music
5. Having to make small talk with people I don't care about who don't care about me

2) The feel of fake leather.
3) Talking on the phone.

5) The sound of breathing and eating at the same time. (Can cut slack if person has a head cold.)

1) Hot chips (AKA French fries)
2) Telephones. Texting is fine. Making a phone call or receiving a phone call is very uncomfortable.
3) Makeup.
4) Ladies shoes. For a long time I couldn't go anywhere out of my bedroom without covered shoes or at least socks, so shoes themselves aren't the problem. It's ladies shoes that drive me mad. Why is it so damn difficult to make a comfortable, practical shoe that looks good? Why do they all have heels? It takes me forever to find shoes I like that fit and it's usually a compromise when I do. But I never compromise on heels. Flat shoes for me, thank you! :D
5) People who must have the radio or TV on as background noise from the time they wake up to the time they go to sleep.
