Does anyone else get really really hyper and start stimming?

I wouldn't call it "hyper" (as in hyperactive), but if I am about to do something I have been anticipating to do for a while, I tend to handle my stim toys more often and with markedly increased intensity. Prior to a surgery on my intestines, I managed to rub off all of the rubber "hairs" on a Koosh ball in a little over an hour. I also tend to stim more when in the midst of an epic battle in Warhammer 40K (anything from drumming on the table or doing the "Tarzan chest pound" while wearing my armor (Kevlar feels weird/good when you hit it) to running my hands against dice and any other object I have handy - at least my friends are too drunk to care).

krazykat, I liked your video. Nothing like such intense, pure joy shared with one's individual autistic behavior, enjoying living in the "now" of life...I don't dance but music I love can bring out my happy sounds, flapping, jumping, sometimes rocking or yelling or fast speech if I want to share my "joy explosion" with someone...so intense excitement may be!

yes! We all have that moment of excitement and surging happy emotions!

I got all excited watching Denis Istomin play today, and even more so when he won the match!
