I like the beat.. A steady 4x4 kick and bass.. Dub which for me has no specific rythm is hell.. I can't manage that..

Also, there's a big difference in the people who attends these parties..
Where I come from, there's a lot of steroid type guys and coke girls.. I prefer the scene in Germany or Holland, more casual people here..
But the trip to Germany or Holland is looooong :-/ Busses, Trains and planes.. yaik.!
Which often decides whether I wanna go or not!

The problem with the video above is all the lazers and explosive light, these will light the room up entirely.. No place in the dark to hide ^^

Of course, I only listen to it on headphones on my MP3 player so I can adjust the volume or pause it when I need to. I would never go to a actual dance or rave because of the massive sensory overload that would cause.

Same. Trance, particularly Goa or psytrance, is one of my favorite genres of EDM, and I enjoy listening to it, but I don't think I'd actually want to go to a rave or a club where they happen to be playing it. I hate crowds, and I don't think I'd be able to withstand the deafening volume of the music or all the flashing lights and crap.
