is it true that aspies and other hfa love music more than nt
Music is my first special interest. It's simple, I can't feel good without. I can't express what's deep inside of me without. Music reflects my emotions, and I learnt humans emotions thanks to music. My little world (or empire as I like to say) is based around it, there is no day without me listening to music or sitting at my piano. It helps me escape from what's too "heavy" for me, makes me dream and fantasize, stimulate my creativity.
When I go out I can't walk without having my player on and it was the same when I was at school. The others were always so stumped during school breaks because I preferred to stay alone with my headphones on rather than trying to socialize. And actually they would be even more stumped to know that during classes I was actually dreaming about the songs I could possibly listen to at the end of the course and was looking forward to that so much. ^^
