I like the first two. They are really interesting surreal landscapes. I don't like the picture of the face, I find it intimidating and scary and I can't look at it. I like the orange dragon.
Also, please don't take this in a bad way, I don't mean it as an insult, but your avatar is very hard to look at.

I agree with what you said, but I also don't like the dragons, they look violent and scary. I appreciate the colours and the talent involved. The eye avatar is very hard for me to look at too. It feels like a real person is up very close to me with their eyes boring into mine!

Soham - Wow! Love all of the art you posted.

Love surrealist and abstract stuff.

Examples of the kinds of art I like: http://pinterest.com/anniejanehussey/wow/

My diagnoses - social anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

I’m no longer involved with the ASD world.

I love these! I love ayahuasca visionary art. I have a book with the art work of Pablo Amaringo. He is a healer and shaman from Peruvia. The artists paint the visions they have while under the influence of ayahuasca.
Edit: Those paintings are the work of Pablo Amaringo. I had to look them up in the book to make sure they were his work.

I was just curious what effect Amaringo's art has on autistic people? BTW I agree with your observation re: Soham's images. I found the first two pleasurable to view (as well as the Chinese dragons).

Neat artwork! You know, Oliver Vernon is reminescent of H. Bosch from the late 1400's! Some of Bosch's works are too bizarre (for my taste anyhow) but do look Sci-Fi ish:

Plus, lots of Aspies are talented artists!

I personally prefer art that is realistic and has something to do with places or nature or towns, etc. I like it if it has people, but it isn't close up. Like a town with people just minding their own business, like another poster said.

Looking at Amaringo's art......Firstly, each are like fractals so it's instantly soothing. I especially like that the more I look at one piece, then more details emerge. Like looking through a keyhole.

Amaringo;s paintings are like strange and beautiful landscapes full of surprises that you can wander around in and make discoveries. They are fun and fascinating. It seems every time I look at one, more of the details emerge. I love all the little creatures. And as the previous poster said, they are soothing.

I like impressionistic or surreal stuff. I do like images with people if they look serious and/or are not facing the viewer. I'm drawn to muted colors or limited palettes and organic looking shapes.

Most of my paintings are abstracts or landscapes. I tend to avoid people, not because I cannot paint them, but because it is rather uncomfortable to paint the facial expressions.

People are fine as long as the picture is interesting, but I prefer thing that have a bit more going on, I really like abstract and intricate stuff, as well as fantasy designs, and simple, cute, colorful stuff.
