I usually hate getting touched. I won't allow my sister to touch me because she will jab me in the sides really hard when I'm least expecting it.

I will allow my mom, step-dad, rugby coaches, some members of my family, and my entire team to touch me whenever they want, because they're generally predictable. If other people have to touch me because it's their job, I also allow them to touch me. Anyone else who touches me will have to get away from me, fast.

What about me? D:

I haven't met you in person yet. ;)

You have a point, but even so ;-;

*hug*

It does feel unnatural, but I don't exactly know why or how. At the Factory, there's a couple people who have this weird touching habit. The girl is always running up to me and hugging the crap out of me or patting my back and the guy is always rubbing my back. It is super awkward, but it's not like I can really say anything without putting my job in jeopardy. It seems like I'm the only one there like that.

I can't stand it. I will tolerate it from my family and ONE close friend, but I have to be warned, and I have a limit. One hug per customer, folks.

That said, animal hugs are fine. I'm touched that my dog likes to lay on my feet or put his paws on my shoulders and lick my face. :)

A hug from a good friend is ok, and I don´t mind giving one myself, but skin against skin.....? OH NO!

There are some people I can hug or get a hug from. I feel comfortable with them. My Mother always has to ask for a hug, I never initiate.
In a crowded place I can tolerate unavoidable contact, but when someone I don't know chooses to touch me I don't like it.

A friend once said "why do you make an unhappy face when I hug you? Don't you like me?"
I said "because I like you but I don't want to hug you. You know I don't like it but you persist."
She said "but I like to hug my friends, you should try to please me."

So after that I avoided her.

I must admit, I do sometimes get annoyed when people slap my shoulder. I don't mind sometimes, depending on the context, I suppose. But the other day I was talking to a friend and she was explaining a situation what happened between her and another person, and as she was explaining, she kept hitting my shoulder hard to illustrate how she felt in the situation, you know, like expression really (I know what I mean but can't quite explain it), but I was getting slightly annoyed, but didn't show it. I just thought, ''aw stop whacking my shoulder like that, it's annoying''. But everybody gets annoyed sometimes at being touched, especially repeatedly slapped when the other person is getting carried away with what they are saying.

Otherwise, being touched in general doesn't bother me. It never has.
