Asperger's & parent age: How old were your parents when

My mom was 34, and my dad was 36.

My Mum was 39 and my Dad 49.

I'm not sure whether there is a correlation between parent's age and AS. However, whilst my Dad didn't have AS (he was pretty sociable) he exhibited a number of symptoms that are associated with it. So maybe there were some genetic tendencies.

My own son has shown some symptoms as well, but I'm not sure whether that's just because he's copied my idiosyncrasies. That actually worries me, because I wouldn't want him to end up being bullied or having things more difficult through copying me.

By the way I was 30 when he was born and my wife 31.

Mother was 18, father was 24. They had the simple village life, so it was very normal to marry at such a young age, you know.
