Another Aspie common trait: Thinking that other people can understand the bizarre thinking in my head.

But if Aspies don't think about what other people are thinking than you can't be thinking about what other people are thinking about what you are thinking in your head. :rabbit:

Well, that's pretty obvious. When I think about what others are thinking I too easily assume they are thinking what I am thinking when the fact is they are not thinking what I am thinking. And that's not good.

And then there's the business of the quiet loner. You'd think this was a good thing but it's not.

The news loves to throw that bit out about terrorists and their ilk: they were a quiet loner with no friends who kept to themselves.

It probably unfairly points the finger at us, but I'm probably being self conscious.

I, of course, am a quiet loner but I have no intentions of shooting up a mall.

I just hope my neighbours know that.

If loner then 1. sociopath or 2. ASD or 3. NOS
But if 1 then not 2 (because NPD and ASD are nearly mutually exclusive) and
if 2 then not 1.
if 3 then not 1 or 2.
Therefore, loner indicates nothing.
