Besides a lack of eye contact and occasionally walking on my toe(s) I think I just look like an introvert.

EDIT: Here's a picture.

I love my hoodie. I wear it everywhere.

lol I ain't the person to ask because I'm not really aware of that stuff. I only notice it when other people think it's weird.

People say that I definitely have some sort of "weird" vibe to me that they can't really shake off. I try to act normal but it's... well, I'm not very good at it I guess.

I think I look and act normal, - apart from some moments of stress. Then I will pace and sometimes talk to myself, even in public places.
The social stuff I do well, - eye contact and all, but I am considered to be atypical and sometimes eccentric.
Some time ago I was told: "You are unusual.....you´re downright weird" by a 70 year old man, - who had mended his t-shirt with a large safetypin right on his tummy

Some people call me autistic even though I never told them I am, so I guess it's visible.

most people do not have much of an idea about autism, and they spend little time thinking about it.
most people think of mental retardation and facial grimacing and salivary incontinence when they think of autism, and i am not what most people would think of as autistic.

i am not an average person, but i am not an abnormal person either. people see me as eccentric and aloof (i was told and now i can see it for myself), but they do not see me as unreasonable or pushy.

people can see that i am happy to be me, and that is more important to them than who i am happy to be.
satisfaction is contagious, and questions and worries are not part of satisfaction.

It would be interesting if someone who was familiar with autism saw it in me and pointed it out like, "you strike me as someone with autism". Which actually wouldn't bother me. But no one in the general public has ever directly told me I look autistic. However, I've been told I'm quiet, keep to myself, don't like to be touched, don't make eye contact, move in a peculiar manner, don't have a social life, don't have friends or an s/o, am a creature of habit... so I'd say in a protracted manner I've been told I look autistic.

That happened to me two years ago. That is how I first found out that I am on the Spectrum. The person who told me said that from the first moment he saw me it was obvious to him because he knew what he was seeing. But people in the general public usually have no idea but once they get to know me they think I am different or odd but usually don't know why.

People probably can tell but I don’t think it is as obvious as when I was in high school. In high school I was incredibly unhygienic and looked pretty aspie. I thought I was just being an unconformist though.

My parents groomed me to look NT when I was in K-8th grade. However I remember constantly being told I was “rude” so IMO if you are pretty clueless how to act in social situations then looking a little autistic isn’t a bad thing so at least people are aware of your disabilities and not mistaken as a misbehaving child. The more you blend in, the harder I think it becomes because you have the pressure of being normal when you are not.

I think physically I have found a happy medium of letting my freak flag fly and still looking somewhat well grounded.

This is a good question. Unfortunately I don’t think your image should be the final call on how autistic you are even though some NTs may perceive it as that way. I have met some really autistic people that were groomed but couldn’t communicate. It’s sad that the world is shallow and doesn’t focus more on personality.

Nobody ever told me I look autistic, but the people I know don't seem to really know what autistic means unless it is someone who can't talk, etc. Lots of people have indicated I am "weird", "out of the box", "one of a kind", etc, etc. and I think what they are seeing is autisim but they don't understand it.

I have no sense how others see me in general, beyond ocational comments like above that I have heard.
