Chomp, slurp and burping noises don't really bother me, in fact I don't even notice them with all the damn ads.

I love a good movie at the theatre with the loud surround sound, the last one I saw was Rush and it was fantastic, sensory heaven! Bad movies really are torture at the theatre though so choose wisely, the trailers usually give a good indication of what to expect and a chance to test a movie at home. The 1990's -2000's THX sound advertisement though is another story, I have read other members comment on that as well. unfortunately going to a public theatre means dealing with the public, solution, go at odd times and wait until a few weeks after the movie premiers at your local theatre, your patience will be rewarded with lacklustre crowds.

I don't mind going to the movies if I'm asked by my friends or family.

I just don't like going by myself. It's not that I hate going to the movies alone, I just don't care to. I'd rather just play more League.
