Aspies earn success every day, they just don't talk about it here.

:? , I've seen successful aspies talk about their success on this site.

First you must define what success means for you. Is it having a big house, fancy cars and all the chicks in the world or is it just being able to interact with someone -someone you wish to do so- and getting by in life?

I only know two Aspies outside of this board. One of them isn't what I'd define as successful, but seems perfectly happy in his own little world. Others might see this as a success.

The other Aspie I know is a woman who I consider to be very successful. She works as an Engineer in a well-paid and very male-dominated job, has a comfortable lifestyle, and is engaged to be married.

Yeah it's possible to earn success as an Aspie.

Yeah you can earn success if you have the drive for it.

But what if your cursed? You want to be successful, you want to have a life, but you not given any of thosen opportunities to make it happen. You do all you can in your power and no one calls you.

Some people with Aspergers "succeed", but at far lower rates than the average neurotypical. Of course it's good to work hard towards your goals, but it has to be acknowledged that in today's society, the odds are stacked against us.

I like this answer! For me it's neither of those things... I believe that happiness = success, and I'm honestly very happy with my life, even though I'm intensely solitary by nature, and am unable to function in a job. I've learned how to make the best of my situation, and I consider that a success!

Sucess is getting what you want

Happyness is wanting what you get

There are a lot of very successful NT's that are not the least bit happy
