I am spiritual, but not really religious. But if I had to choose I'd say eclectic pagan. I have on occasion worked a spell or read cards, but its not a daily thing. In fact I haven't done so in a long time.

Atheist

The only reason I don't flat out say I believe there is no God (being an anti-theist) is because I have to be honest and say that there's no way to prove that God does not exist.

Same, though I haven't gone to church in a very long time. I get nervous around lots of people for extended times (I don't mind if I'm walking past a large group in a mall though)

what you mean to say is you are an 'agnostic atheist', rather than a 'gnostic' one - a gnostic atheist being one that asserts with absolute certainty there is no god, and an agnostic one of course acknowledging the proposition is unfalsifiable.

being an 'anti-theist' on the other hand is nothing more than being against religion, kind of self explanatory i would've thought.

and remember people, 'agnosticism' is about knowledge, whereas 'atheism' is about belief.

they are not in any way mutually-exclusive, contrary to the misconception here (just like just about everywhere) that they are.
so please stop identifying as just an 'agnostic', that term is meaningless on its own.

and to answer the question i'm an atheist.

Edit: just realized the question was 'what is your religion', which makes some of these posts even less correct.
To answer your question properly, I do not subscribe to any religion.

Atheist/Antitheist, but also Humanist. I believe in being a good person, and many of my values are inherently Christian even though I am not. Dogma is against my own personal belief system though, hence the anti-theist part, but I also believe that people of different religions coexisting peacefully is a wonderful and necessary thing for society to function. I edited this post because I think some people could have found it offensive and/or preachy.

It is?

There's overwhelming evidence and/or proof pointing to man-made gods not existing. Belief is something that doesn't have evidence and/or proof (which is why belief is considered an emotion).

note i said 'about belief'
trust me i know better than to call atheism a 'belief', obviously its a lack thereof.

when i say its about belief its because it deals with the "do you believe" question by answering "no."
it does not however address the question of certainty.

also it is ignorant to claim there is proof god doesnt exist, you can't prove a negative.

Moderator comment:

Please don't use this thread to debate religion or to bash other's beliefs, it is enough to simply state one's beliefs or lack thereof. For those members who want to engage in a deeper religious debate please take it to the PPR forum (Politics, Philosophy, and Religion) where you can have a no-holds barred debate on religious issues.
