I've never known anything in the history of neurological medicine to radically change the chemistry of the brain, which I'd imagine would be required in "curing" autism. I'm betting money the true meaning of this "cure autism" is actually curbing the effects of the crippling sensory issues many face.

All the extract does is treat oxidization in the brain which can worsen some forms of autism. It is hardly a "cure" but a medical treatment.
Unless people actually want those who have this neurological problem to go without help? If so then that may be denying them a chance to be more who they truly are which goes against the idea of neurodiversity.
"On CGI-I, a significantly greater number of participants receiving sulforaphane had improvement in social interaction, abnormal behavior, and verbal communication (P = 0.015?0.007)."
"Improvement in abnormal behavior"?! Haha!
BTW I notice that they don't write anything about sensory issues at all. Which may be one of the things to generate "social disability". Is this broccoli / sulforaphane treatment going to mitigate sensory issues?
And what about the advantages? Will we lose eg. ability to focus, good memory, perfect pitch, or whatever other advantages we might have? Not to speak about savant skills... Or logical thinking, which isn't always a bad thing?
