My one essential "don't" is a suggestion I'd make about any forum...don't get involved in discussions that are very frustrating or upsetting. Especially not if it means subjecting yourself to personal attacks, or sharing things that make you too vulnerable.

ok so here's another 10 things not to do:

delay reporting a troll to a mod
post that ASD is caused by aliens
post that ASD is can be cured by faith healing
post your home address and phone number
tell others that you wear a tinfoil hat when posting
tell someone you hate their avatar (unless it is so gross that it is intended to offend others)
tell someone to grow up or act their age
write as if all women are the same
write as if all men are the same
play the ageist card to diminish another
