Probiotics are HUGE. I'm living a second life right now compared to a couple years ago thanks to diet/probiotics.
Pretty sure the OP wasn't talking about a clay skin mask.. but rather, drinking bentonite clay. I've drank a lot of it over the last year and a half - but not so much over the last few months. Just started drinking some again. I also drank a lot of diatomaceous earth in my shakes as well. Both are said to detox heavy metals, but the other benefit is that they're supposed to help push things through your digestive tract.
Drinking it!? That's even worse! Actually I've never drank bentonite but I don't like the way it feels when it's wet since it's so slimy... the sad part is that I'm considering drinking it now purely out of curiosity.
Here is a link to a podcast on probiotics. It's very interesting. It cites a story about a man who
had multiple sclerosis, but after having a... "transpoosion"... he no longer had MS. Now, as we all should know, correlation does not equal causation... but you never know
!
What do these heavy metals you speak of actually do? Do you notice an actual change when you are on probiotics versus not on probiotics? I know for a fact that my iron levels in my blood are unusually high... not dangerously high, but certainly on the high end. Are blood iron levels part of this heavy metal thing? What other metals are part of the heavy metal 'problem'? Are alkali metals part of it?
Thanks.
