I can wear most types of shoes except high stilettos, mid heel court shoes are better. I get back pain if I wear shoes without proper support, e.g. flip flops.
I like flats or a chunky heel for everyday wear: ballerina, Birkenstock, trainers, Converse, mid calf or biker boots.

I wear tennis shoes with velcro instead of laces because I have bad fine motor-skills & a tremor disorder that acts up when using them. I can tie my shoes & I did when I was in school but it's more time consuming & frustrating for me than most people.

Well, let's just say the only shoes I CAN wear are my skateboard shoes and my slippers. I can't wear regular tennis shoes because I don't like the tight, constricting feeling on my feet. It makes them hurt more when I walk. That's why I wear skateboard shoes because they are much more loose and don't make my feet feel tight at all. I also have a hard time wearing sandals with the little thing between the toes as well. If I wear those for too long, the skin between my first and second toes get very irritated and sore. D:

Flip flops the strap between my toes bothers me greatly, and heels, I hate trying to walk in them, it throws my sense of balance off.

If I could, I would only wear sneakers all year round. But in the winter that can be a problem. When I was a kid I wore more varied seasonal footwear and didn't mind it, but now I find that sandals or flip-flops pinch or cut into my skin or between my toes, boots have heel that are too high, are hard to put on or take off, and summer shoes have soles that are too thin and stepping on pebbles or pointy rocks hurts. It seems that sneakers are the only type of footwear these days that are made for someone who walks more than from their house to their car. And high heels are EVIL and were made by EVIL people who want women to suffer and ruin their feet. It's as bad as when they used to make little girls in China wear tiny shoes to keep their feet small.

I read somewhere that Americans wear shoes even when indoors but I think in Canada we just walk around in our sock feet except for when we wear slippers. I think it isn't good to walk in shoes all the time, it doesn't toughen up your feet. My uncle once showed us photos of when he was mountain-climbing up in the NWT, and the local kids were wearing just sandals!

Very high heels. I see short girls wearing them and I am envious.

No, not because I'm tall and I'd look funny. Psh. I stopped caring about looking funny back in 2nd grade when I decided I was Wednesday Addams' long lost twin sister.

I've got extreme back problems and I can be very clumsy. I tend to be very active and heels slow me down, too. Really high heels can cut off the circulation to my toes too.

And I know, I know. Heels are merely used as a sexual lure these days. But can't an individual just like them? Heels were actually invented a long time ago, and for MEN, because women couldn't show their ankles in public. Men's calves were all the rage. Now I'm lucky if I see a scrawny pair of chicken legs on a guy, let alone a good runner's calf.

But really, I spend a lot of time barefoot. I'd be a Hobbit if I could. With high heel envy.

Flip flops, they hurt my toes and they are hard to walk in

High heels, they make me fall or have my feet slip and I can't risk falling and they are also hard to walk in

High heels - can't walk, might fall or twist ankle
Sandals & flip flops - I don't like getting anything on my feet.
Leather shoes - vegetarian
Pointy toes or anything else that's tight.

I thought walking in heels was going to be easy since I constantly walked on my toes. No friggin way-I can't trust myself in heels, especially on soft surfaces like carpet or grass. Flats are also problematic because they pinch and chafe the backs of my feet. I usually end up wearing one pair of sneakers until they wear out.

hey now, i am trash at dribbling also :| while i fortunately never got many chances to play it, i remember either just running around aimlessly, following my team-mates while they all scored. i almost never got my hands on the ball, when i did i'd always lose it when i tried to dribble. i used to have a net-less hoop in my backyard, attached to a shed, before it was torn down.

i dislike flip flops because they flip and flop. and slap the back of your legs with every step, an annoying sound. makes too much noise and i love to have a quiet step when i can, since i am a night owl and always the last to go to sleep in my household, don't want to wake everyone up with footwear. (although with this loud keyboard clacking, maybe i'm doing it anyway.)

oh dear, this too.

also they provide no arch support. my heart belongs to a pair of black converse, and a pair of worn black slip ons. they are comfortable and snug, not too loud, and they look okay! wear them everywhere.

i also have these blue tennis shoes mainly reserved for track practice that i wear sometimes when i'm working on the street or going for a long walk, it;s like walking on f*****g AIR. but they are a little too tight and hard to remove/put on...

barefoot/sicks is best. in middle school i was known for not wearing shoes in class :jester:

Sandals, as my feet get blistered up very fast wearing them. Any type of hiking boots are a pain for tying the laces and they hurt my ankles. Heck, any shoe with laces is a pain for me. I never learned how to tie my shoes and have been wearing slip on shoes for the past 5 years now.

Perhaps, you could teach yourself.

Surely, that would not be too difficult.

Tried that already, it didn't work.

I can't buy and wear anything that looks feminine.
