In terms of topic, 99.9% of the furries I know have either Aspergers or ADHD. The 0.1% are into the community for nefarious reasons, usually to get free sex or to find partners to murr with.

I have always been into anthro animals as they are called, since I can remember. I do think fursuiting is a worthwhile hobby, but, as with all things, the minority always screw it up for the rest of us.

What is murring?

Is "skrunching" a real term? A furry character used it in an episode of CSI that was about murder in the furry world. That episode of CSI was the first time I ever heard of the furry phenom.

"murring" is when you are so deep into furry you believe you're a wolf, or whatever your fursona is, and you have sex, in your fursuit, with another who is also similarly dressed

I, for one, have to be very careful not to let my interests take over my life. It was more of a problem a recently as five years ago when I rarely went out and had no way of going anywhere. Now, it is far different. I have actually begun to use my interests as outlets for social development. Finally getting my driver's license at the very late age of 48 made this possible.

I ticked on 'other'. Like ASDs, it varies from person to person. That is my main point.

Personally, I'm neither of these things. However, as a writer, I have to look for numerous writing opportunities and, because I have three female cousins under the age of five, 'MLP:FiM' has become a possibility (especially since it's alleged that one or more of the characters is on the spectrum). I have observed a few episodes and while I can laud it for appealing to everyone (according to TV Tropes, it's aimed at children aged between 5 and 12 with a few parental bonuses in the form of film and TV references (including films like 'The Shining', 'Trainspotting' and even 'The Big Lebowski')), I'm not sure if I'm right for the show (I can be very blunt and forthright with my writing and not afraid to tread into darker territory). However, I always have the voice acting option to fall back on if that becomes the case.

it's absolutely ludicrous to say it's not more likely that autistic people will be bronies or furries than NTs.
to say no is basically to either have no knowledge on the matter or to be overly cautious of generalizations regarding autism.

No, I'm not a furry. I'm a cat lover, but only real cats. I am not a fan of furry characters.
