When I was younger I had a habit of talking too loudly, especially when I was excited. It was helpful sometimes, like when I was asked to read out loud in class, but if I was in public with my mother and other people they'd get embarrassed and tell be to speak more quietly. I don't have that problem as much now, for some reason. It just seemed to start getting better after my Asperger diagnosis.

I also say very brutally honest or blunt things online that some people find worse than annoying. More likely they think I'm an evil rhyme's-with-witch.

But that's *their* problem. They get shocked by someone having the guts to tell the world the reason why something like a TV commercial sucks, but they're not shocked when that same commercial is lying, fear-mongering, guilt-mongering, or is just plain awful.

leaving my stuff everywhere and forgetting to do things irritates people.

also, not wanting to say much confounds any attempts at conversation.

Just being an Asperger sufferer who never goes out to bother anyone is already enough to annoy Neurotypicals.

Meowing and growling on trains really bothers NTs.

I think staring, walking around for no reason and muting TV commercials are one of the biggest reasons why. I HATE TV COMMERCIALS...except for a few. I stare at people for various reasons...sometimes when a person is being disciplined I stare at them because I feel no remorse at times. At our apartment, I'll hear a lot of parents yelling at their kids...
Walking around for no reason? My reason is exercise, but NTs would rather have me doing something.
Stimming is probably another reason. One of my bus drivers refrained by from chewing my fingernails even though that is a habit/stim that I have.
Not being clear is another example. If they give us random directions, then walk off, what exactly do I do in steps?
Oh, and I have a loud voice as well, which makes my parents cover their ears at times. Ugh!!

I make rhythmatic noises with the spit in my mouth. I imagine its pretty gross to listen to, but I have no idea I am doing it.

1) Standing in the way.
2) Doing the wiggly arm dance when people ask me to move.

My sister gets annoyed when i have meltdowns and when i have Shutdowns. If she brings me to the mall and we stay for too long, i get a sensory overload and shut down and basically become a zombie. She always gets angry at me and says "UGH! i hate it when you Shut down!" she also gets angry when i talk about sonic.

i dont know how anyone else feels about me though.

Here's a couple not mentioned yet...

I find being in the car really soothing but hate having music on - so there is generally an off/on/off going on when I'm sharing a car. I know that annoys my husband so I generaly leave the music on as long as I can bear it. Don't get me started on the kids bickering! :)

I've stopped this one after my husband pointed it out (a lot - it bugged him!) I used to slap my thighs with both hands simultaneously if talking about something that excited or angered me. I might have done it once or twice in a sentence. I don't think I do it anymore. This was before I was diagnosed.

I also have a pretty low-tone voice, and my family hates it when I can't speak up or when I say "nevermind"

My "arrogance" and "egotistical attitude" when I politely point out to someone why they failed and how they can avoid it in the future. Apparently I also talk too loudly when I am excited, being told to stop yelling when I have no conscious understanding or knowledge of changing my voice.

My fiancee does that to my thighs all the time. I appreciate the touch but she can do it pretty hard
