No I can't. I can't talk and write, listen and write, in fact do anything while I'm doing something else. Walking whilst chewing gum? No chance, lol.

Whenever I am writing I have to mute the stereo, I can't have anyone talking to me
when I am writing.

Really? I'm the opposite! No background noise means no writing. My mind is like a junkie, it has to stay buzzed or it just stops working.
