Well I got certified yesterday. I was last in the group to pass and start earning. It is the hardest campaign around and I was training for 7 weeks. There are only a few people in the group because it is so hard. One girl left yesterday already as she didn't like the rude callers and she also said that she could earn 200.00 dollars a night in tips in Canada.
Because we are dealing with people's credit cards, there is a lot of security. I have to bike in early as it takes me 10 minutes to log in.
I find it strange though that a store can call me and get a credit card number and exp. date because they forgot to add a tip to the original transaction.
Can't use emails to send information to the customer. We have to use fax or the postman.
I also think it strange that people buy everything on their credit card, even if it costs only a dollar.
It is nice to have money in the bank again.

Good for you! I hope this works out for you. If you can outlast others on the "rude customer" dimension, this could be steady work.

All the credit card rates are changing in April. We had to come in on Saturday to learn the changes planned. For example Mastercard is changing from 0.0013 to 0.0014 as their charge. Lots of other changes with the credit cards too as interest rates have gone up. When the teacher set the test and said that we had to get a pass of 95% one of the guys shouted out that I would be there till monday. Someone else said that he would send food to me at regular intervals.
I passed first and went downtown and found out on Monday that I finished way ahead of everyone else. So I still have my aspie powers.

Thank you. I feel that I have accomplished a lot recently. Because the security is so high you cannot make notes. You have to remember everything. I am so glad I am aspie at the moment as that helped me thru.

You're not a party pooper, that guy is a jerk. I would take anything such a person says about you with a grain of salt - consider the source. He sounds very unprofessional with the missing pages, not enough pencils, and the kinds of statements he is sharing about himself and making about you. He's problematic, not you. Sorry for butting in - I just felt annoyed on your behalf.
