I tend to have a blank stare, too, although people often misinterpret it as me being sad. I'm constantly told, "Smile!" or "Cheer up!" by strangers, even when I am perfectly happy or cheery. When I look around, I don't see people walking around with massive grins always on their faces, so I don't really understand what makes my resting face so different from anyone else's, but apparently it is.

I don't get comments about eye contact too often because I look at the nose, and that seems to work most of the time, but my resting face gets comments all the time.

Those pictures are great!

I'm pretty sure this is how I look most of the time to most people.

Yes, exactly why I do not understand AT ALL why people insist that one must smile perpetually?! I don't see others or NTs walking around like that! I don't think my face is all that different! (apparently I am wrong about this lol). 8)

I saw a commercial today that made me think about this conversation. I had to come back and post it:

I hate making eye contact. It makes me feel so uncomfortable.

Haha, my mother used to yell at me to look her in the eyes when she talks to me. Then if I did she would go like why are you staring me like that!. This things made me very confused. Was also beaten up several times on the streets for staring at nothing in their direction.

I'm not too fond of eye contact as, I tend to stare at the bridge of one's nose since it's easier for me..

I usually stare at people's feet since then I can avoid them more easily. Or, if I have to, I stare at their chin.

I have also been beaten up for supposedly staring as well.

I can recal when I was much younger how I would look at the ground when people would be talking to me and this often lead said persons to think that I was either 1. ill-mannered 2. did not give a damn about what was being said. or 3. that I was up to some nefarious or malevolent plot or mental construct as such..
