I love collecting feathers! I have several impressive hawk and turkey feathers hanging from my ceiling! :D

when I was a kid I had a sticker collection that covered an entire wall of my bedroom, no empty spaces. then my family moved and I was forced to manually scrape each one off. none survived.

nowadays I collect interesting/potentially usable scrap metal, chains of all sizes and varieties, bearings, images of fungi, slime molds, and lichens with identification text, crayons, and cheese wax.

I also somehow ended up with over 5000 plastic stirring straws in different sizes and colors.

^ there's something awesome about cheese wax. I don't even like that kind of cheese but I've always been compelled to save the wax and see how large and varied in color I can make a ball of it. I've always ended up throwing it away though, after several cheese-waxes worth of wax accumulated. Not sure why I never saved them as much as I felt I'd like to.

I still have my old cat collection as well (when I was younger I collected miniatures/figurines of cats) but forgot to mention it earlier. I used to collect Estee Lauder lipsticks, I wanted one in every color but they're crazy expensive ($25 per lipstick if you dont use ebay, which of course I did).

Oh, I still have my complete pokemon card collection (original 151). Nobody touches that but me.

Oh, yeah, I totally forgot about my Pokemon cards! I only save the ones I really like, since I just like looking at them. I also have a binder of Yugioh cards for the same reason.

Books & games for me, both of which are just all over the place half the time. The books in particular I have too many of to fit on bookshelves. For games, alot of it is older stuff; I have an Atari 7800 that sits next to the keyboard here, plugged into the TV (next to this monitor) for use. 2600 & 7800 games just in random spots around here (they all work nicely!). Among other things.

And I got into cubing recently, and am already starting to collect those. I can already tell I'm going to end up with about a bazillion of them. Currently I have about 8, which are scattered on my bed in various states of being solved. I find myself messing with them frequently. I need more. Despite that I dont really tire of the ones I have. The only thing that's irritating is that I have to ORDER them. I hate ordering stuff, but in this case I'll do it anyway.

Cheese wax is a wonderful stim object/tool! Every time my daughter would add to her cheesewaxball she'd have to mold the new layer on until it blended seamlessly. Very satisfying, from my limited experience...

I have to ask, how many EL lipsticks did your collection have at it's peak?

First I have to point out that this tab is literally open next to the Estee Lauder website tab right now on my browser, through pure coincidence.

Um. Let me count, then add one because I'm out of my favorite color right now, and that will probably still be accurate, because I don't think I ever sold any off and I surely haven't used any up (except my favorite color) because I don't so much wear them as ... HAVE them. Lined up neatly on my bathroom counter of course. Organized by shimmer content.

I'm going to go with 21. I have 19 on the counter, one in my purse, and need to buy more Tiger's Eye ASAP. That goes in the shimmer section. 8)

PS- that's how many DIFFERENT colors. I have a few doubles. And I didn't include lip glosses, only lipsticks. And I left out the other brands... 8O

Sigh. I have so much to learn...

When I was about six, give or take a year, I had a pile of sticks by a tree for a couple of weeks. Then, the tree had to be chopped down, and that pretty much ruined everything. I tried starting again by another tree, and it wasn't the same. Now that I'm officially diagnosed, this memory makes sense now.

Oh, and I'd totally collect magic: the gathering cards. Not to play with. Just to look at.

I used to collect erasers. Big ones, little ones, broken ones, itty bitty ends of ones . . . I used to find them on the floor at school, and I liked to keep them in a piece of candy wrapper inside my desk.

I collect books and videogames. Or I used to before I went digital. I rarely buy paper books anymore, ebooks are cheaper and more convenient and don't take up any shelf-space. I don't buy disc games either because I don't have the room to store them.

I collect vinyl records and books. We ran out of room for my books so I've had to box many of them up and put them in the attic. I hate doing that for some reason. There's nothing better than being surrounded by shelves and shelves of old books.

I would one day like to have a library like the Beast in Beauty and the Beast.

I have a huge collection of Kinks albums and CDs, Routemasters and pea-like characters.
