I've been nocturnal for about two years now.
The hustle and bustle [and people, and daylight] of daytime life is too much for me. I naturally wake up at about 11pm, and go to sleep at about 7am. I don't necessarily plan to live like this forever though.
It simply doesn't, and never has, felt at all natural to start the day in the morning. I've often wondered whether perhaps I have an unusual "body clock", or whether I'm simply trying to prevent sensory overload by avoiding the day. Reading other people's posts here has been interesting.
I would do that if I could, my mum complains though if I stay in bed till really late. I could happily stay up all night and sleep all day though. If I have nowhere to go then that actually makes sense as well, it's quieter at night so I can concentrate or relax, and you don't have sunlight either. It's perfect for me really
