- aloof
- visual thinking

While I'm not formally diagnosed, I do share a lot of traits.

List 'O Traits:
-Tapping/Drumming with fingers and feet. Usually when I'm thinking or stressed out.
-Bouncing on my toes when I'm cold or standing for a prolonged period of time.

-My voice is incredibly monotonic and it bugs me.

-I miss jokes pretty hard sometimes. If someone is being facetious, I have to think about the scenario to make sure I don't make an ass of myself.

-If things aren't in their original spot after being there for an extended period of time, my brain figuratively short circuits.

-I develop obsessions for things to a prominent degree. Current interests: Germany and German related things, Guardians of the Galaxy (Rocket Raccoon), Frank West, Pokemon/Digimon and unironically enough, Asperger Syndrome.

-I have an absurdly good photographic memory. I tend to remember oddly specific traits about people.

-Pretty awful sense of space. I bump into things on a regular basis. I also trip going up stairs pretty frequently too.

-Small talk annoys me. Holding my attention for superfluous and pointless conversation is obnoxious.

-Being in crowds of people I don't know makes me incredibly antsy. If I'm with friends, then it's less overwhelming.

I'm sure there are a few more things. I'm pretty oblivious to my own actions. But yeah, not formally diagnosed.

Special Interests become addictive
Can stay on the computer all night without realizing 8 hours have gone by (related to above)
Forums are addicting but they do prevent me from boring people with my special interests.
Horrible at remembering names
Zone Out
Friends? What Friends?
Love Life?. I understand most people have it at one time or another.
Never had cell phone because I would lose them all the time and being on call all the time is too stressful.
Multitasking overloads me
Networking? Why? Why? Why?
Planning? It would be nice if did it more often and even better if I was able to carry out the plans I do make.
I take pencils, screwdrivers and hangers and whip them up and down.
Want to see me look like I have electricity running through me? Touch me when I am not expecting it.
Don't like change.
A diagnoses gave me a sense of identity

Black and White Thinking
------------------------------
A song named "Blurred Lines" was number 1 for 10 weeks. That makes me feel different.
A book "50 Shades of Grey" being popular makes me feel different for reasons that have nothing to do with the adult content.

Hello all!

I think it would be cool to compile a list of generally-recognized Aspie traits. Having been diagnosed with Asperger's, I'll start:

Add your own, agree with those on the list, or comment!

1. Thinking in pictures.
2. Monotone speech
3. Weight on chest aids in sleep
5. Walking on balls of feet
6. Intuitive with animals
7. Looking at other's eyes is uncomfortable.
8. Sensation of cotton tingles and is uncomfortable.

Did Temple Grandin write that list?
