Anyone feel they are not smart?

Achieving something by working meticulously makes me feel guilty of trying too hard to be what I'm not. A person naturally good at the task at hand would easily kick my ass at it if they really wanted to, spending less time and energy than I do. It's counterproductive to give me a chance instead of them.

There is a saying that we shouldn't compare ourself to people , but what I observe is that some of them lack hard work or real talents.

But the have people's skill , the ability to know and empathize with them, please them. And they are usually the last one to be fired or retrench. We usually despise all these "boot lickers ". But as a fact it's a soft skill and it's a great survival skill to have.
