Okay, well I have hypothyrodisim, which is an auto-immune disease, which probably means I’m allergic to myself
I’m BADLY allergic to penicillin, amoxicillin, celor (misspelled probably) or anything else remotely related to penicillin.
Allergic to cats, dogs (except poodles, thank goodness ), most foods according to an allergist (but only shellfish have an obvious reaction-otherwise I just eat anything, because otherwise I’d be avoiding basically everything-and I like food!), apparently eggs (just discovered that gives me digest problems, though I can eat eggs used as an ingredient in a cake, for example).
I have noticed for years that often after I eat my throat gets clogged up, and I’ll be coughing for a while. I don’t know why, or if it matters, but I’ve wondered if it’s some sort of mild allergic reaction.
I don’t do well with chemicals. Hate their smell (things like perfume, etc.), and I eventually start breaking out if I use a normal deodorant. I discovered Tom’s of Maine’s natural unscented deodorant. I can use it just fine. Also have mild allergies to pollen and that sort of thing, but nothing bad.
So basically I have a TON of allergies, but most of them don’t really affect me (as far as I know) on a day to day basis. Basically I just have to remind doctors I’m allergic to penicillin and it’s relatives if they’re prescribing an antibiotic, and lately I’ve started avoiding eggs-which I don’t like anyway, so no loss there.
Oh, and obviously I *HATE* cigarette smoke (or fumes from a car) or anything like that.
