I like things to be in even numbers, even the volume on the tv. I have to have cups in piles of the same colour. What to do with the ones which are the same colour but different shapes, do I put them in piles according to their colour or shape? My eternal dilema
I do not have any which affect my life a great amount anymore.

I used to have the feeling that I needed to go to the bathroom constantly. I never really had any need, but I still felt that i had to go at least once an hour, every recess at school and so on. Especially when I was about to go to bed. It got pretty bad for a while, where I'd go 10 - 20 times before I finally went to sleep. If I didn't, I'd get more and more anxious until I was nearly panicking. I dunno why that was...it went on for a while, though I can't remember for how long, and then it gradually faded out, thankfully.

I've always had OCD - when I was a very young child, I used to make my Dad read the same story over and over again, day after day, week after week, month after month....

As an adult, I have OCD with regard to my 'toilette' - i.e. I have to clean my teeth a certain way and do my hair a certain way etc.

I have many other rituals as well and I avoid certain numbers etc.

I used to, but I don't have those rituals anymore.

I had OCD traits as a kid, but they gradually diminished from mid-to-late adolescence.

I don't think I've ever been OCD about anything. I had short phases where my CDs had to be all in order but I feel that that was more a practical thing than anything irrational. My brother however totally freaks out if a cupboard is left ajar or if the curtains aren't drawn exactly how he likes it. He doesn't think that's odd though.

Same basic things need to happen for me since I can remember....

I must have something to read while I eat. Don't care if it's the nutritional info on a cereal box. My food will just sit and get cold otherwise.

I must arrange the table a certain way before eating. Nothing can be in my periprial view.

Nothing can be on the floor. I'll just kick it under the table or out of view.

Can't have faucets dripping or the bleeding sounds of someone's tv or clock while trying to sleep. It sounds loud as hell to me and drives me absolutely mad.

I can not allow my feet to touch the ground while watching a film. It takes me right out of the program and ruins everything.

I can't have random touching going on either....please warn me before you put your hands on me, please. Thanks.

I do have OCD type behaviours, but because I enjoyed my obsessions and were not so much linked to anxiety disorders like an extreme fear of catching germs leads to many classic OCD'ers go through a compulsive urge to wash their hands and wear gloves all the time. I am not like that because my obsessive compulsions are not at all linked to any anxiety disorder.

I like to open the blinds to line up with the bars of the windows. When doing the dishes I wash things by type e.g. glasses, then mugs, then forks etc.

That's about as crazy as it gets though.
