why do u think NT hate quiet

Simply because NT people think that quiet people and places are boring, and noisy is fun, which I personally don't agree with. Yes, it's good to listen to music and doing work that makes noises do happen, being quiet actually has benefits. When it's quiet, you tend to concentrate more easily and make up ideas that you originally came up with. Well, actually, it DOES get boring only if you don't get your ideas to it, like writing it down, typing it up, etc.

I'm NT and I don't mind silence in between conversations if it's someone i know really well. Like my husband, best friend, good friend, kids, mom, etc. If it's someone I don't know very well it can be uncomfortable. So it just depends on the situation and who it is.

My experience is that if they see someone who rarely talks, they feel very uneasy. That what my peers were like in high school. What they didn't know is that I was afraid I would start talking about my special interests if I did open my mouth to talk. I had it drilled into my head that it's wrong to say anything about my special interests. My mum told me at the beginning of each year not to talk about my interests or else my bullies will start bugging me about them. I was paranoid.
