I think that Autism Speaks use a single blue puzzle piece. Autism Awareness use a collection of different coloured puzzle pieces.

I don't get what an infinity symbol has to do with Autism, it seems like a symbol more suited to a Mathematicians Group.

It means it is a infinite spectrum. With a infinite number of possibilities it goes along with the spectrum idea.

In that case why not simply use a prism, similar to the one used on Pink Floyd's "Dark Side Of The Moon" album?

dark side of the moon

Personally I still prefer the puzzle pieces.

I'm not explaining why they chose it, I'm just saying that is what it represents.

The puzzle is a piece of a bigger picture, and the rainbow is an example of a spectrum.

Some people think the song is about brain damage.

The entire album is about mental health, the dark side of the moon being a reference to lunacy. One of the tracks is actually called "Brain Damage."

I want to get a Phoenix tattoo soon that's visible (inside of my lower arm). It will be black lines with a water color look. And all the colors will represent something I've dealt with and either conquered (like paralysis and malnutrition) or struggle less with now (like autism). I only say I struggle less with it because I'm becoming more accepting of it, not because I'm implying it's going away..

Why just dip your toe into the sea of tattooing when you can just jump in

Is that illustrated man on the autism spectrum? Or does he just like the jigsaw motif?

Sounds like a Blazing Saddles quote "We don't need no stinking badges"

"Blazing Saddles" was referencing the earlier movie "The Treasure of Sierra Madre" starring Humphrey Bogart.

He is known as The Enigma and was co founder of the Jim Rose Circus , I have no idea of his spectrum status
