Well you are young, it took me a very long time to get a grasp of my own emotions much less what's going of in someone else's head. This may not be the case forever.

I've always been an empathy pro (hehe) but I suck at introspection. I can't tell the difference between internal excitement and internal depression. However I directly, and painfully, feel the pain of others directly. Sometimes it's actually pretty severe. We're all different but I am not sure if this sets me apart from typical AS or not. I think it's just one of the variations.

It seems like there's been a LOT of hate against people with Asperger's Syndrome recently, which I find quite frankly rather irritating. These are the people that hurt and manipulate then turn around and say they are being abused. I really don't understand. Are some people just naturally evil people? Do they enjoy this? I certainly don't.

There are people on this site who fit your description. I wouldn't say they are evil since I don't believe in the concept, but they are terrible people for coming on this board and creating chaos. Some of them are allowed here to cause trouble even when they don't have autism. So, I think fairness is an issue we should address and resolve...

When it comes to seeing someone physically hurt, I am over stimulated and get a jolt or shock. ( I have a hard time watching videos of people getting injured ) When it comes to an emotional aspect I am not nearly as good at recognizing it or empathizing with it unless its sadness like someone I care about is crying. If I see someone I care about crying I can be overcome with their sadness and burst into tears.

A tough realization to come to in life is that there are A LOT of people out there who feel compelled to step on others to give themselves even the slightest boost of self confidence/advancement in the obscenely silly concept of social hierarchy status (in my opinion). I feel those on the spectrum are seen as easy targets for these people as we seem to give off the impression that we are perfectly content with being a punching bag for dismissive actions since our likelihood to defend ourselves tends to be below the norm... I do my best to pretend that these people dont exist 8)

I think a lot of people confuse Autism with psychopathy but dont care to know the difference. They notice a "trend' and create their opinion and throw it out there to see who praises them for it without being concerned on improving their opinion based of actuality.

Ahh, that's what I meant. Thanks, I have difficulty with emotions especially if they don't actually say them. I've had people punch me and start crying because they thought I was ignoring them, when they seemed completely normal.

I think this site promotes a naive view of autism. I think the philosophy promoted won't get society's compassion, rather the opposite.

Life is hard enough, I don't want to be hated any more.

It annoys me that the quote button is tiny and in the top right corner of the post you want to quote, but the report button is considerably bigger and positioned in the button right where you would expect the quote button to be. I've clicked on report a number of times by mistake. I just think that it should be the other way around. Obviously reporting offensive posts is important, but it's something that occurs far less frequently than quoting a person.

NT's are very irrational and prone to letting their emotions control them.
Yes there are some people (sociopaths) that love to hate, cause conflict, and see harm done to others, the also get excited by it (it is in fact their only pleasure)

Back in my early 20's I ran into a female friend that I liked that I hadn't seen in years. (I actually got weak in the knees when I saw her because I had a huge crush on her) Back in those days I had sportbikes so I rode through all types of weather. Anyhow, I wanted to show her I never forgot about her and pulled a picture of her, she gave me out of my wallet that I kept with me. She hit me after I showed her the picture and at the time I was super confused as to why she reacted that way. I didn't bother contacting her after that because I thought she didn't like me, but much later, after reflection, I think it happened because the picture was quite damaged.

Man, that sucks. I've had very similar situations happen to me. Something bit different was a time I knew two...let's just say familiar organisms (a person and a dog) with similar names. I Mixed up their names and learned my lesson, though I was rather confused as to why the person would be bothered by that because it's just a Dog. Excuse my temporarily self-centric view but sometimes I feel like we are the normal ones, who are civilized and calm and only react to situations which really bother us, while other people who aren't like us are like literal animals, and NOT dogs, I'm talking wild, unpredictable, overly emotional here.

I'm irrational and I let my emotions control me. But I'm Aspie.
