I remember that song very well. It was constantly on the radio in 1969-1970.

The Cowsills were the models for the Partridge Family.

I just hate getting my haircut because I have to walk to the salon. In the winter and summer this can be especially bad. I usually get something like a pixie cut because short hairstyles take longer to grow back, require little care, and I've been told they look good on me. I have very thick hair that grows all over the place so I can't let it get too long.
I don't usually have problems with the hair dressers. In fact I often will start chatting with them if a special occasion like a holiday or birthday is coming up.

I really should get it cut soon before I start to look like a sheepdog. :)

I have tried cutting my hair on my own a few times, but I'm terrible at it, so I usually wait until my hair is long so I can go to the barber.

That's what shavers are for. You can't really go wrong with them... unless the plastic grader falls off when you're not paying attention. It happened to me once and I ended up with a big slash of bare skin running through my grade-two :)

I have such outlandish hairstyles that it doesn't matter if I muck it up , I just go with it and say I meant it that way
