I've also got an acquaintance who is so deadly serious about everything. She always seems angry.

She's had a lot of issues in jobs with not getting along with people and she always thinks it's everyone else's fault. Why are women so bitchy she'll say.

I was trying to think the other day how to describe her an "too intense" is probably on the nose.

She sees in black and white and will directly let you know what she thinks of a thing. It's good or it's bad. No shades of grey.

I think people who are able to detect nuances and who don't see things as black and white find that grating or narrow minded and feel judged.

I've been told that I'm very intense by many people. The first time I had someone say that to me was when I was in college. I guess that I'm very intense in the way that if I want to do something, I'll do it. It doesn't matter if people don't agree with it. I'll do it. I'm one of those types who can't be controlled.

Yes, I'm way too intense. I talk about personal issues too much, people tell me I'm giving them way too much information.
