After hearing the second question, my mind just simply stopped working. All the thoughts froze, and I pondered for a few seconds knowing that I probably would never get it. I still don't, sort of. I get it, but I don't. I suppose I'll sleep on it.

That describes how I was as well, even now having been told t he answer by several people, all NT's I can't get to their answer by thinking about it, I have to pull it out of my memory as the known expected answer. I just go blank trying to think about it.

Why do they want the marble anyway? What is it really going to do for them?

Well all I've got to say is I've never met this Sally, I don't know who Anne is and I don't talk to strangers who have lost their marbles.

I would steal a pen before I would steal a marble, unless the marble was magical and could transform into food. Argh...bad joke... :o

Maybe the marble is actually a kidney stone earring. In which case, it is still not worth stealing.

Woah I just realised something...

This isn't any old Anne we're talking about- this is Anne from Little Britain! It all makes sense now!

Unless Anne has AS, in which case she thinks that Sally thinks its in the box. :P

Another possibility is that Sally has AS, and Anne is an NT bully. In that case Sally would anticipate Anne's move and would look straight in the box. Who would then think what? ;)

I love *you*, too.
We seriously need an "I'm not worthy!" smiley here...like this one:

Actually, according to Uta Frith, the Sally-Anne Test isn't reliable for older Aspies because they will most likely get it correct and also be able to say logically what the other is thinking.

The Sally-Anne is used ONLY for child Aspies and shouldn't be used as a basis for a diagnosis of an older individual.

So we can use the Sally-Anne test to determine who gets access to the Mature Forum? :P

No. Use the Cryptopsy test.

*laughs hysterically!* ONLY Aspies would create such an amazing background for the life of these two dolls! I especially like the idea that Anne is an Aspie and so thought that Sally thought the marble was in the box!

I'm pretty sure the answer is *meant* to be that Anne thinks Sally thinks the marble is in the basket... but she could just as well think that Sally is thinking 'where the hell is my marble?'! Ahh dear, but honestly, typical NT question: it's stupid, nonsensical, and yet somehow it is enough to tell apart Aspies from NT's! *mutters about stupid useless questions about dolls who have lost their marbles!*

I prefer the Cryptopsy/Napalm Death test. If you can name two song names from either band you are in.
