Most of the time talking is fine, but i prefer to communicate by writing (texts or emails). I suppose that is why i prefer AAC to talking, because it is just writing (on my part).

I share your hatred in making phone calls. I'm a comedy case when it comes to initiating a phone call, as I'll stare bug-eyed at the phone hyperventilating and on the verge of tears. I find it strange how face-to-face interaction isn't as bad even though it requires more than simply talking; it's just overwhelming and draining instead.

I prefer written communication out of all. It's probably best not to get too comfortable with it though.
