I post at home. I never use the internet at work. I personally think now he was winding me up

By the standards of general/'NT' forums, even the OP was oddly pedantic! I guess it's that 'nonverbal communication' impairment again!

Probably so. You said you regularly play jokes on him -- he's probably rolling on the floor right now!

Thank you! I was wanting to say something about people giving poor Mr MacPhisto such a hard time, and that God invented NTAs to do that, but I'm too much of a chicken.

I agree with Mitch. Why are some people responding with insults and rudeness? I'm not completely sure I understand the problem he is facing, but he's obviously reaching out.

Yes, and the pathetic thing is that this is an Aspergers and Autism forum so many people are bound to have problems communicating yet if people aren't clear or display grammatical or spelling mistakes, they tend to get shot down.

Yes, they do -- which makes no sense to me -- there will be 5 posts about the struggles of coping and fitting in and then a post like this where compassion flies right out the window.

People insult others on irrelevant information because they feel bad about themselves and want to hurt someone else to feel better.
Calling attention to someone's writing skills is warranted when the post is about said skills or education in general. However, the OP seemed upset and was called names for his effort.

Just woken up just got out of bed. I have read so of the replies since my last post. I've noticed if you go on other forums most posts are written in slang and text stlye. It's just this one that is formal. Thanks for those who stuck up for me!! !! ! Anyway most of you have a communication problem you should be able to sympathise. I used to be rude to people and told it like it is but one person taught me not to I credit to that person.

Insults are unnecessary. On the other hand,
making an attempt to be coherent is vital to
being understood.
