Sorry, maybe you are already saying this and I'm missing it. So you asked for a new IEP that would focus on how to correct your child's behavior at school instead of just pointing out that it's happening. Sounds good. Did they agree to make this new IEP? If so, did they say when they'll present it?

The main class room teacher has her own notes in IEP that says he is throwing this and scratching up to 30 times a day blah blah which I KNOW IT IS A LIE and an excuse to not do her job to support a disabled autistic child.
When I and everyone else besides her and maybe her staff knows he is very gentle, lovable , adorable, always seeking attention, curios, and then the so called teacher in his prek class room says something that is a shock and surprise to us.

It clearly shows they are not trained to , not her two staffs for sure as special ED teachers to work with child with autism. And if they know how to support and care for such child, they just want to relax and not provide support.
his class has 9 kids, all between 3 to 5 and three staffs and they don't do much beside making sure they don't get hurt.
But they are supposed to provide acedemic and functional support too!

I just told the case manager that I want the IEP to include goals like positive behavioral interventions and supports and better understanding and support for my child. I said include PBIS in IEP because the teachers seem to neglect his disability and rather just complains about his behavior which as parents know is better then even normal kids.
I am sure they won't erase the lies from his teacher about his throwing and scratching. I really soke up for my child at IEP and I hated the IEP the teacher was reading to me. Right there, i told them this is just a draft for me, i aint signing this and i want new IEP that will include our goals or concerns. The school district representative was understanding, so is social worker and the two therapists. Maybe the teacher is not but who cares, I will stand up for my child and the truth and facts!
