With me I had phases. One minute I would be clingy the next no.

At school I could get clingy with friends and want them to do what I wanted to do without thinking about how they would feel about it.

With parents I was clingy at home but outside of home no I wasn’t.

I haven't been clingy since I was about 4. I was fairly independent. Especially in my teenage years. My parents had no idea of what I was doing and they didn't care either. I think that turned out to be the best. Otherwise my strong personality would have clashed with theirs so horribly. I had a very good childhood and teen years because my parents didn't pay much attention to me. They just thought whatever I did was all right.

During my grade school and middle school years, yes, but no during my high school years.
