Selfish neurotypical morons only understand brute force
League_Girl, I've literally tried sending someone to ask them to stop, and that is before throwing bottles... so, not sure how much more non-rude I can be... and yeah Joe, if they stopped after bottles were thrown then presumably they did due to them, otherwise they'd still be doing it multiple times a week. But by all means, cling to your impractical suggestions (and no, moved furniture is not at all as bad as this...)
My experience in life, especially much time growing up and living with criminally minded or anarchistic people.
Is, sure, some times antisocial behaviour, dishonest, violent and even purely criminal behaviour can work in your favour, if the odds are in your favour.
Odds. For example, the people who you are committing your offence against get scared, or live by the criminal code (so don't talk to the police what ever you do), and there are no innocent members of the public or paid services witnessing you commit the offence/s.
And when you pull off such an offence, you may feel like this is what really works, and in some ways you are right.
As in your individual circumstance, indeed it did work.
However, you are never guaranteed for the odds to be in your favour, and the next time you use the same strategy to get the change in your world that you want, you may be unpleasantly surprised to get a different result.
I am not saying you definitely will, however, as peoples opinions on this board reflect, people generally do not approve of bottle throwing and in some cases you can get put in prison for doing the exact same thing.
I note, a person who is known to me who lives in my area did recently get sentenced to a custodial sentence recently, for doing exactly that although in different circumstances.
In this circumstance, the guy (who is known to me, and is someone in this case, i think is a complete tosser - not that I am saying the same is true about you), the guy was in a bar and threw a bottle at a person playing guitar on a small stage in the corner of the bar.
Yep, I think he got put in prison for 2 years, which may be reduced to 2/3rds of the sentence if he is a good boy while in prison.
Getting charged with such a crime doesn't reflect very well on him and will make all sorts of real world things much harder for him, such as being able to get a job, convincing someone to give him a loan etc.
So. for a few seconds of revenge pleasure, it can mean a whole lot of s**t in return.
Worth considering a different strategy bro. Even if you reported the guy to motor traffic.
Or even stole his motorcycle so he couldn't ride it past you any more. (only joking on that one).
Another comical solution were to steal the motorcycle and leave it outside the local motor traffic office,
or put it somewhere where the police will notice it and check it to see if it conforms to the motor traffic law with regards to noise pollution...
that would take a lot of effort and perhaps even money though....
you can see the funny side if the police did confiscate the bike though and forced the person who owns it to make the necessary changes.

You make the changes, get them recognized then fix it back to it's proper (loud) state.

Throwing glass bottles in the UK is considered "glassing" and is dealt with very severely here. It's almost seen as it's own offence and sitreated similar to throwing a knife.
Luckily the OP is throwing plastic bottles and doesn't live here (I assume) but throwing stuff if done regularly might eventually attract attention from the police or equally as likely just attract attention from people wanting 10 mins of entertainment from the OP.
