I can't recognize myself in the mirror if I make any sudden changes. I shaved my head a few weeks ago and I'm still not entirely sure that my mirror isn't broken. I don't think the guy in there is me.
This time of year is a bit of a challenge as people get haircuts and I have to learn what they look like all over.
There's degrees of issues with this and there's a bunch of weird things that can happen. Some conditions can lead to the brain interpreting faces from the detail to the more outline rather than from the outline to the details. That can lead to significant issues in terms of identifying and remembering faces.
