For me, it was Star Trek. I liked the fact that they were so accepting of different people on the show. Not to mention the conversations were always interesting.

I loved Star Trek since I was about 10.
I was watching just now...the original series with Kirk and Spock-Shore Leave. I always liked that one.
But DS9 is a favourite too.

Grael,

Me too. :D My mom just found the reports from all of my childhood neuropsych tests. She dropped them off a few days ago. According to one of them the neuropsychologist found it concerning that I was so obsessed with Dracula and said I viewed him as a hero. But it's not the murdering of people that interested me, just everything about him. :D When I was little I used to compare my sensitivity to sunlight to the similar weakness of vampires.

I used to fill notebooks with cut out images from the Hammer horror movies of Dracula. I was obsessed with reading about him, writing poems about him, and the actor, Christopher Lee. Hell, I have footage here of when I was 16 and we went to Universal Studios... I spotted a guy playing Dracula and we had to chase him so I could pose with him biting my neck. It is positively embarrassing now   I used to think him this romantic hero who would rescue me etc etc...

Naw, got it on VHS video. Keep meaning to transfer it to DVD and if I can get that done, I can then upload the part to youtube... hmm, what a cool idea. It is the only video I have of myself when younger...indeed, of any vacation. It even has me in a super pout because dad didn't want to spend another day at Disney.

I have imaginary cities, all loosely based on real-life metropolises in the U.S. At the time, I was hooked on Sim City, which I had for the Super NES. I was 11, 12, 13 at the time.

I also have fantasies about being someone of high authority (i.e., a head of state).

I do that too, and get some odd looks when I do it in public. I will just imagine an amusing scenario and that will be me set off laughing.

I do that and people don't know what to think. Sometimes I forget to not laugh, it just spontaneously happens, or else I just can't contain my laughter.

Then someone will say, 'Well, what, what's so funny?" but I can't explain it.

I do this quite often.
It's usually talking to people in my head who I want to talk to in real life but I can't because I don't know how to properly. Sometimes I talk to myself in public outloud without knowing that I am doing it until I suddenly realise myself doing it.

It is a lot better than the "real world" I have to say. Because in my world I am always right and I am better than I am now.

Never out loud, but I do have conversations in my head, often to try and play out what I'd like to be able to say to them, or to try and plan things before I have a conversation. It never works out as well as it did in my head, but I think it can be helpful, sometimes. I don't necessarily do it with that purpose, though, I've just always played out conversations like that. I'll often try and game out future events in my head, too, to try and predict what'll happen with those.

I used to imagine and live in my own world, but then I realized that there was a lot of stuff in my real world that I missed out on. Now I do it when I am alone or going to sleep~

I do that too. As soon as the water hits my head I'm chattering away in my mind, completely unaware of where I am.

I have noticed that since a child. I have a tendency to have imaginary conversations with people in my life, or people who will not talk to me...and to fantasise about different scenarios.. I seem to spend more time in my own head than out of it, and often get caught talking to myself... It is just almost instinct to talk to myself now... I do it all the time. And I imagine conversations in my head, sometimes even voicing them out loud.

Hell yeah! I do that a lot but I don't do it aloud very much and then only when I KNOW no one's around. Like at home. I tell my dog things, too. Like things that we did at work that day or whatever else is on my mind. I imagine a lot of scenarios that I'm involved in, too. I've always had a very active imagination like that since I can remember. I’ve been told that when I was a little kid I had an imaginary hog for a pet that I'd talk to.
