PTSD tried to destroy my live and it failed! So idk I won't say my life is destroyed, but that's not to say it's not without difficulties. Idk f**k that I only get one life so I can't let one thing destroy it even if it is hard to get over that thing I likely don't get another chance so may as welll make this one count somehow or at least get some enjoyment out if it while I can. Idk depending on the election may be I only have fascism to look forward to. But if that happens then well I'll probably be killed for resisting by simply not being a fascist.

I just don't know if it comes to that I will be as brave as Sophie Sholl was(if you haven't heard of her look her up), but regardless no way I can stand for fascism if it happens.

Not destroyed, but the tragic loss of my former partner had an extremely profound effect on my life.

I'm so sorry. I can't say whether I know how you feel but I was also devastated by the death of my partner in 2015 and then the loss, not death, of my best friend of 40 years and former partner who was going to be my partner again, two years ago. I have a wonderful new partner now but the losses remain and they are deep.

Almost destroyed by a controlling former husband who emotionally abused me and my kids.
Feel like I'm mentally over that now, 6 years after "escaping".
But I think the something-like-PTSD I developed may have permanently affected my health.
