3D Boxes (mostly cubes) and ever growing 3d boxes piles combined with triangle boxes. I also outline every shape on the cover of a workbook and colour in all the enclosed spaces in letters. (in P and R for example)

EYES.

but i am not good at them so most of them get turned into beans and then i draw the endless

VINE

that weaves all over the paper with tiny leaves, and always, always the endless looping

BRAIN-LINE

that looks like brain matter, and also

SPIRALS,

but i can't really draw them the one way, because the line will overlap, so they come out best and even when i draw them from the outside of the spiral into the center, and counterclockwise.

Lots of repetitive schemes - I've got some intepretations about the shapes - and here it is -

Stars - shine, light, hope, belief
3-D squares - self-esteem, connections, relationships
Hearts - love, friendship, comaradarie
Spirals - dillemas, deep thinking, unsuredness
Lines - anger, making points, conflict
Eyes - higher spirit, watchers, karma
Vine - creativity, movement, artistic endeavors, bright ideas, details
Does this resonate?

Anyone have scanners? It'd be cool to SEE your doodles! Drawing with a mouse is just not the same....

I only doodle when I'm on the phone or in a boring meeting. Then I usually start with a flower and draw tentacle-like sprigs that curl all over the page, with leaves on either side and little spirals at the end.

I draw faces, then scratch them out and draw them again. I do this over and over again.

I drew lots of adult women from an early age. I preferred drawing them to playing with dolls so I could control how they dressed and I would make up careers for them. I stopped in high school after a particularly beating by my mother to get me to stop. I wasn't allowed to take art class because it was frivolous but I was a better technically accurate doodler than the people who went on to art careers.

I doodle anything and everything.

I draw these things in 3-D: cubes/boxes, crosses, triangles, circles, stars, words.

I write my name over and over again and other people's names. I do it as pretty as I can in cursive. I used to have bad handwriting up until high school. I would sit in class and do cursive handwriting and printing both, over and over ad nauseam instead of listening to the teacher and doing work. I did this for so long that I actually ended up with pretty handwriting.

I also doodle lines, trees, flowers, weeds, houses, faces of people, smiley faces, stars, eyes, random shapes, and I put the pen down and randomly scribble all over the paper and then I fill in shapes with a solid color.

I draw circles (like bubbles) side by side, on top of, underneath, ... all over the paper.

That's all I can think of.

Plus a few months ago i did a bunch of Labryinths on the computer. ill see if i can find one.
