I was terrible at math, especially in the high school. Our teacher was strict and we were afraid of her.

I'm so bad with math that it's not even funny. Let's just say that my husband now takes care of balancing the checkbook! :D

I did OK in algebra and basic trigonometry.... but did not progress beyond that.
If I apply myself to keeping my thoughts organized I might learn the higher maths.

I'm mixed.

I can't learn my times tables. I can't divide. If I have to do something without knowing WHY then I'm doomed. I can do ANYTHING in my head (unless it's spatial or visual)

But I'm pretty good at algebra. I view it like a balancing scale and it works. Also I'm good at geometry - I can just see the answers (but am not allowed to use my own visual logic to prove it. I have to follow the standard way.) I love maths theory.

I'm either good or bad. I don't know which. :?: :?:

Once I grasp the concept of how something works I can do it pretty easily. But my teachers at school never really bothered to explain much and I guess most of the time I was too lazy to read up on it, so I got only average grades (3 on a scale from 1 to 6, 1 being the best grade). I've always loved geometry and vectors, though.

There are some parts of maths I am quite good at and others I am horrendous with. Probability and fractions, for example - certainly not one of my strong points but they seem to feature quite heavily in AS level maths :x .

I can barely make change at the grocery. In school I suffered through Algebra, then completely floundered in Geometry, when I got a look at Trig, I switched paths for Uni. I actually failed my course in Statistical Analysis in Uni ! !!
