They needed to use forceps to help me out when I was born. Other than that, I understand it was fairly normal.

As a baby, and until I was about 15, I had a lot of ear infections and was given a lot of antibiotics. More recently, we discovered that I am allergic to many of them. The doctor told my mum that my stomach pains, skin rashes and high temperatures were caused by the infection, but it's clear now that it was the antibiotics causing it. I don't take them any more, but if I had a very serious infection I would certainly consider it.

This brings me back 22 years. In April 1983, my doctor perscribed a different anti-biotic than the ammoxocylin I was use to for one of my ear infections. Of course I was alergic to it and boy did I pay for it. My ENTIRE body broke out in a rash. This happened in the middle of the day when I was at daycare. During nap time, I remember one of the aids applying a liberal amount of lotion onto my stomach.

Hmmmm? My Grandmother said I had alot of ear infections
in my early years. Hmmmm? Ear infections and signs of autism?

I am an emergency c-section baby. I was too big (I weighed 10 lbs 1 oz). Also my head was turned and by the time they could tell that it was turned, I was too far down the birth canal for them to get me to turn it back to where it should've been. My APGAR scores were good. I was a very healthy and happy baby. From my toddler years until I was a young child, I did have a lot of very bad ear infections. Ammoxocylin is the pink stuff, right? I used to love it!

According to the DR, I was born a healthy baby, just came out with the umbilical cord wrapped around my neck.

I had a friend who was Schizophrenic (that was questionable) and had an LD and he had the same thing happen during his birth. Though they suspected he was in the womb awhile like this as well. His neck has no curve to it apparently because of this so he has incredible problems with pain in that area and gets easily tired (since the curve of the neck takes off the pressure from the weight of the head on the rest of the spine).

I came out a month early, and I was a very quick birth, all of two hours.

Ditto. My mother was home when she had the first contractions. She called the doc and he said it was false labour. A half hour later she called back and they told her to go to the hospital. She *just* made it. I was a full month early and weighed 5 3/4 pounds. I don't know the timeline after that, although they did have to do some abdominal surgery very soon after I was born and there was some worry about my heart as well. My mum was fine.
