I am prone to “laugh attacks,” which are highly amusing to me, but cause others around me to become very annoyed. Sometimes, I’ve angered people with my inability to cease laughing. When these attacks happen, I may continue laughing at the same thing for days, even weeks. Once, I made a friend of mine absolutely miserable while on a road trip. I laughed at the same stupid thing for three days. I was worried he was going to ditch me!
Usually my thinking of strange, comic scenarios triggers these attacks. It may be deathly hilarious to me, but no one else will think my idea is funny. In my head I’ll see a whole comedy skit-like scene, which comes out of nowhere. Accidental comedic creativity, if you will.
I feel its an asset, the ability to entertain oneself.
